Memories of Grandpa Jarred from Phyllis Mills (Thompson) were they lived on a farm at Natimuck, alwasy had big plum puddings at Christmas. Grandfather was a champion rifle shot and a great swimmer. He used to swim out to the end of the Portland pier much to grandmother's horror. He went to live with Aunty Flo after grandmother died. Mt Arapiles farm had cows.
