Uncle Percy had an old Shotgun. Some how this ended up with dad (Francis Henry Matthews Arkell) and when he passed away I brought it home with me. After several forms and stat decs with the local Ballarat Firearms Registry, I managed to get the gun registered in my name. It was not registered previously, anywhere.
The markings on it include, along the right hand barrel "Andrew Webster Belgium". I have tried to ascertain the origin of the gun and the significance of Andrew Webster without success.
