William & Joanna were married at High Bickington Church, Devon called "A Church of a Thousand Years".

The churche was built in the year 936 and had the following alterations over the years;

• Saxon Of Cob timber and thatch Norman Porch, south tower & font - (12th Century)
• New roof - (14th Century)
• Carved pew ends - (15th Century)
• North Isle and West Tower - (15th Century)
• Elizabethan - Plate - (16th Century)
• 6 Bells - (18th Century)
• Minstrells Gallery removed - (19th Century)
• Organ replaced string band - (19th Century)
• 8 Bells & Vestry Screen - (20th Century)
