Marriage - Mary was noted as a widow on the register and this suggests that perhaps her maiden name was [BO:Dove:BO] and her first married name was [BO:Batt:BO]? This is to be verified.
James was noted as a widower of St Mary's parish on the register, however we ran out of time to try and find his first wife.
The witnesses for the register were - William Swift, Prisella Swift and an I. J. New
General - The 1851 census had a James Arkell aged 75, widowed, as a Pauper/soldier, born at Holborn Middlesex London.
A marriage was listed but as yet no link established.
